A very tight first half ensued with neither team really having any advantage and all girls working extremely hard .  Molly made a couple of testing catches in the wind and both defences were playing well . Laura was detailed to mark their pacy number 10 and she did an impecable job , using her pace and strength to superb affect

So into half time all level and nothing between the teams . A few words on keeping possession better and switching the play whenever possible and we were off again .

Rian switched with Lily at half time and was instructed to work the left flank with the wind blowing in this way .

10 minutes into the second half Rian made a superb run down the left and followed this up with a brilliant cross which came back to Rosie who popped it over again and Erin finished it off. A very well worked goal in a game which was not going to yield many goals .

The game carried on in the same vein and we saw it out to claim a very important victory .

Both teams worked incredibly hard and are a credit to girls football . I get on very well with the Andy the Arnold manager and he was full of praise for all of you and the way you conduct yourselves , very well done

Molly - some excellent handling in very tricky conditions saw you have a great game . Your concentration levels were spot on , well done

Lottie - you marked your 50th appearance with a typically solid performance typifying the progress you have made of late , excellent

Esther - I don't think you have missed a beat in the last few weeks , my rock was just that

Laura - monumental performance of which you should be very proud . You only started playing football in the summer and the way you stuck to your task today against an excellent player was just brilliant . Your dad was chuffed too which is always great to see , superb

Kiara - yet another quality display of defending . Solid tackling , excellent reading of the game and good distribution , brilliant

Eloise - our leader is going from strength to strength . Vocal , willing and always available , a whole hearted display as always  , well done Squeezer

April - I thought yours and Orla's range of passing today was superb . You 3 in the middle of the park worked tremendously hard because you had to and you came up trumps , excellent

Orla - you a proving a revelation in the holding midfield role just as I had hoped . You got your foot in and passed the ball very well again , great stuff Orla

Rosie - A very industrious display and a quality cross for Erin's goal . The balance you give us on the left is invaluable and the whole team benefits from this , excellent

Erin - a very hard working display and a good finish for the goal . It was hard going up there at times but you did us proud , excellent

Lily - a tight first half midfield battle didn't see the ball come your way that often in the first half . An excellent start to the season though so keep it going , well done

Rian - an excellent second half , you looked hungry and meant business today and your display mirrored this . Very pleased with you Rian , your form this season is top drawer

Anya & Leanne - I couldn't get you both on today but your chances will come and again both of your attitudes was spot on , thank you .

 

So in summary an excellent team performance again to keep the good run going . Arnold are an excellent outfit and have been our sternest test to date and you all came up trumps , very well done

Our supporters today were windswept but in great form as always , thank you folks 

 

Bryan and Paul were magnificent as always today. We bounce ideas between us very well and we make a great team off the pitch to give the best support we can to you girls .

 

Again I am struggling to pick 3 players of the match which is good , but after much thought I am going for Laura , Orla and April who all played magnificently but again this was a superb team effort .
