Well our last league game of this season saw us up against one of main rivals in Gedling Southbank . James and myself watched Derby beat Gedling last week and we picked up some very useful information on todays opponents who always provide a good test for our girls 
The girls warmed up really well and had all been briefed on their particular tasks so to take the lead after 40 seconds with a training ground routine was just incredible ! April popped up at the back stick to finish a terrific ball in by Eloise . That really settled us down nicely knowing we only needed a draw today to be crowned outright League Champions .
But the girls were having non of it , playing some world class football , the passing and movement was a joy to behold and a fantastic crowd were treated to some great stuff 
Rosie then banged in another 2 and April bagged her second to send us in 4-0 up at half time . That was an incredible half of football , but the girls have been monumental in the last 5 games , just when they needed to be . Skillful and quick going forward but also defending sensibly and backed up by a superb goalkeeper , these girls are a team and it shows in the results and the way they conduct themselves on and off the pitch
Onto the second half , Leanne swapped with Lottie and duly popped the fifth in from a corner and Rian nearly broke Jon's new goals with a screamer to notch number 6 
This season we have scored goals from all positons and that is a great luxury to have and one I am very pleased with
Our Stars;
Molly - off your line well again today and some assured kicking and handling when required and yet another clean sheet , great work skipper
Lottie - solid in the tackle as normal , I dont think their number 8 will bother you again, well done
Esther - consistency is your game Miss Lamb because you are brilliant every week . You read the game so well and then use your pace to great effect to snuff out any danger that comes your way , Superb as always
Eloise - lovely passing and interplay with Rosie and Erin and your crosses were heavenly today , fantastic job Squeezer
April - our engine room was in overdrive as usual with another all action display. You must have covered every blade of grass and still found time to help out in defence as well as bag a brace , awesome display
Rosie - another memorable performance from our left midfielder today . Rosie epitimises what we are about as a team because she is such a great team player , another 2 goals as well to cap off a memorable league season for her again , top drawer
Erin - an excellent willingness to work hard up front and link up with her team mates impressed me most today Erin . You held the ball up well too and played with a smile on your face as always , brilliant
Leanne - you again displayed how far you have come this season and capped it off with another goal ! Your tackling was excellent and your ditribution has improved beyond all recognition , magic
Rian - another good shift up front and another goal . You held the ball up and layed it off far better than you have done previously and that is just what I want from my strikers . A cracking goal as well to seal the match , well done
Orla - two positions again and nothing fazes you Orla . You are very reliable wherever I play you and that is a luxury for any manager , superb
Anya - well I wanted to get you on today and we did it ! You have alot to learn Anya but you have an excellent attitude and enthausiasm which will help you get there . You remind of Leanne a year ago and look how good she is now ! Very pleased for you and also your Mum who was over the moon for you , brilliant stuff
So another memorable game was dished up by our superstars, we are very lucky to be in the company of such great girls , it is an absolute pleasure

Also a big thank you to our ref Kirk who I thought was brilliant in both games and let it flow and had a great way with the girls on the pitch
A great afternoon and evening followed in the Jonty Farmer , it is very important for girls and parents alike to bond off the pitch as well as on it and it was great to see
A massive thank you too to my wonderful coaching team of Paul, Bryan & James . We make a great team with one common goal of making these girls the best footballers we can whilst having a great time , thank you boys
It just remains for me to say thank you to everyone for another successful league campaign , lets enjoy the cup semi final and see where it takes us .
