   Well in a very tight encounter our girls triumphed and reached the Cup Final for the second year running . An incredibly close game saw Derby play very deep often with 4 / 5 players behind the ball . This made it hard going to get through but we eventually took the lead through a neat left foot finish from April .

With space in front of the Derby back line we kept plugging away but chances were few and far between for both sides . Molly came off her line well on several occassions and Esthers all round covering was brilliant . Erin , Rosie , April and Rian worked hard up front and in defence but this was always going to be a low scoring game  . Defensively we were excellent , Leanne , Esther , Lottie , Orla and Squeezer kept it tight and defended very sensibly , well done Clap

Player watch ;

Molly - off your line well again and good kicking as always Clap
Lottie - solid in the tackle and good distribution , one excellent effort on goal Clap
Esther - another terrific performance , great strength in the challenge and superb reading of the game Clap
Eloise - got forward well on occassions but today we needed you to defend well and you did just that Clap
April - full of energy as normal and a cracking little left foot finish for the goal Clap
Rosie - you really did work hard today , tracking back brilliantly several times . Going forward was tough going today for all of you , but another great effort for the team Clap
Erin - not much space up there this morning but you soldiered on and did well against some strong defenders Clap
Leanne - good tackling as usual and boundless enthausiasm as normal , well done Clap
Orla - you held your position well and played very sensibly as normal , well done Clap
Rian - thats the Rian of old , I love it when you play like that , full of beans and charging at the defenders . You were nearly back to your best today , well done Clap

So a good hard fought win , but a wins a win and we move onto the final on 8th May at Arnold Town's ground again .
Bryan , James and myself have picked up a few things we need to work before the final but we have  a few weeks to work on this in training and in friendlies Wink

Thank you as always to our wonderful followers who kicked every ball with you today girls , it was tight but richly deserved Clap

See you all at training next Saturday :
