Woodlands continued their fine start to the season with what turned out in the end to be a comfortable victory against Midway Ladies.

However Woodlands all important 2nd goal didn't arrive until 5 minutes before half time.

,Mel was simply magnificent up front scoring 5 goals (8 from 3 games now in all) the first of which came inside the first 15 seconds. Shannon also helped herself to a hat trick. Chloe P had a super game at the back and Katie Zee & Abi (making her debut) will all be happy with the way they have settled into the team. Michelle & Amy both had solid games and particularly in the second half the whole team played some lovely football.

It was the first time we have played Midway and i was particularly impressed at the way they continued to try and do the right things. The girls didn't let their heads go down and they all worked really hard for each other. I sincerely wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.
