A terrific return to form this morning against new opposition for us . The girls played really well in training yesterday and continued in the same vein this morning .
Excellent movement , communication and good passing produced a very controlled performance .
Molly - no chance with the goal , otherwise a quiet game
Lottie - excellent game at right back putting in some crunching tackles and some good distribution from the back , good throw ins as well
Esther - your usual excellent self no matter where I play you
Eloise - great game capped off with your first league goal for Woodlands FC, well done mate dead pleased you have scored and I know you are !! WFC MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Rosie - fantastic vision and superb passing along with another 2 goals , you also tracked back to help the defence to good effect - OPPOSITION MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
April - superb all round display , you also worked very hard for the team , 2 more goals
Rian - you lead the line very well and you also linked very well with April & Rosie spreading the play wide when required , 1 goal
Orla - you did everything up front apart from score , you have been excellent in training the last couple of weeks , keep up the good work
Leanne - you looked alot better at right back in the second half , the more football you get the better player you will become
Tessa - Taking over from Esther you were back to your old self today
Erin - excellent showing on the left in the second half , good running on the ball, defenders hate it when players run at them - keep doing it
All in all an excellent result and all the girls got good match time which was my intention today . Our confidence should be restored now which will serve us well going into next weeks home fixture against Wollaton .
Well done girls , we have had a few tricky moments in training in the last couple of weeks but you have knuckled down and been rewarded for good honest hard work .
